Visit Austin

Harrison Eppright

Harrison Eppright is a native Austinite (save for the 10 months he lived in Nacogdoches) and has been in the hospitality industry for 25 years. He is the Manager of Visitor Services and the Tour Ambassador for Visit Austin. Because Harrison assists visitors from around the world, he has been encouraged to be better informed about the world. Harrison suggests all visitors take a tour of the Texas State Capitol as it links Austin’s history AND identity, past, present and future. “I am amazed and impressed at the love that so many citizens of all colors, all walks of life and from around the world have towards this beautiful building.”

“I am glad that for many visitors to Austin, I am the face of Austin, sometimes the first Austinite whom they will encounter. I try to welcome, educate, and to impart a good lasting impression of Austin to visitors to our city.”
