Marlon Davis is a sales manager at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin and has been in Austin for more than 20 years. Originally from Dallas, he attended the University of Texas at Austin and has been here ever since. He has been in the hospitality industry for a little more than 15 years, with positions in the hotel ranging from Front Desk Manager to Assistant Director of Housekeeping to Sales Manager.

What he loves most about his job is the culture of Four Seasons, which empowers him to provide world class service to their guests, and most importantly, the amazing and dedicated people he works with each and every day.  For those visiting Austin, Marlon suggests trying a Shady Thang at Shady Grove or the cerveza fajitas from Polvos, and going boating on Lake Travis.

“I could easily mention my experiences with A-list celebrities but the one memory that stays in my mind is the night that my colleague and I stayed up caring for a guest that was having chest pains. We spent the overnight hours comforting him in his guest room and eventually escorted him to the hospital.  We stayed with him in the hospital for several hours to ensure he was okay.  Shortly after that night we found out the guest had to get a pacemaker. That gentleman has continued to be loyal guest and even better friend.”
