Getting Around Austin

Registration/badge pick up will be available at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The Austin CVB will be providing airport transfers to the contracted hotels for arrivals on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.  Badge will be required.

In the city, taxis can be hailed on the street throughout the downtown region or found at hotel taxi stands. Taxis are also readily available outside the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport's baggage claim area on the ground floor. Visitors should expect to pay about $25-30 in taxi fare from the airport to downtown Austin.

Rent a Bike
On-the-go bike rentals from Austin B-cycle are available to use at more than 40 stations located throughout the city. Also available are a number bike shops that offer hourly and daily rentals. Maps and bike routes can be found here.

These carts pulled by local cyclists can be found all throughout Austin. Each driver is licensed by the City of Austin Ground Transportation Department and work solely on tips, so be generous!
