Fun Family Activities

Camp Fimfo offers lots of activities to entertain both kids and grown-ups alike. While the kiddos splash around in the water park and whoosh down waterslides, the adults can hang out in the pool by the swim-up bar. Or kick back in style in an architecturally striking private cabana with wood-slatted walls, chic lounge chairs and a mini fridge.

Families will also want to play a round of mini golf, search for jewels in the gem mining sluice or explore the winding Guadalupe River. In the evening, there’s outdoor movie nights and concerts at the next-door Whitewater Amphitheatre. And be sure to bring binoculars to keep an eye out for the mysterious Squirrely, who leaves hidden messages around the property.Welcome desk at Camp Fimfo New Braunfels with western wall art

Dining & Lodging

Hungry campers can head to the Filling Station and Squirrely’s Tavern to enjoy local New Braunfels-inspired dishes, homemade ice cream and specialty cocktails. Make a stop at the General Store to pick up snacks and locally produced goodies like jam and wine. It’s also a great place to stock up on souvenirs such as Camp Fimfo apparel, as well as camping gear.

Guests can look forward to comfortably settling in for the night. The interior design of the resort reflects the kitschy spirit of Camp Fimfo, beginning with the lobby that’s decked out in vintage summer camp memorabilia. Cabins are decorated with mid-century modern furniture like clean-lined, wood-and-chrome tables and chairs, and sleek but comfy couches.

Lodging will be available in phases throughout the summer, including three riverfront A-frame cabins, three larger cabins that can sleep up to 10 people, and 25 midsize cabins with space for 6-8 people. Or opt to sleep outside under the stars. More than 180 full hookup RV sites include concrete pads. Tent sites, slated to be available in the fall, will be equipped with potable water and 20 AMP electrical hookups.
