Get Shift Done Austin provides workers, who have been left jobless or underemployed by the Coronavirus pandemic, wages of $15 an hour to work shifts at local non-profit food pantries.
Goodwill Central Texas Education & Job Training
Goodwill and Indeed have teamed up to bring resources to people affected by COVID-19, a connection to the Indeed Community and access to jobs. Career and support services are now available on-site at the Goodwill Community Center (including Computer Lab use) and the Workforce Advancement section of the Goodwill Resource Center by appointment only.
Texas Workforce Commission
For job seekers, Texas Workforce Commission offers career development information, job-search resources, training programs and, as appropriate, unemployment benefits. While targeted populations receive intensive assistance to overcome barriers to employment, all Texans can benefit from the services offered by the partners of Texas Workforce Solutions.
