The Austin Music Marketing Office promotes Austin as the Live Music Capital of the World®. The diversity of Austin music, whether it's blues, rock and Latino or jazz, classical and country, helps bring millions visitors to Austin each year. The Austin Music Office:

• Promotes Austin as a great travel destination for enjoying music
• Connects meeting and event planners with nearly 2,000 musical acts in the city through Hire an Austin Musician program.
• Encourages meeting and event planners to utilize live music venues as alternative event sites
• Acts as a liaison between the music community and city government to help ensure the success of Austin's $600 million music industry.
