While in town, experience some of Austin’s most impactful murals, created by working artists around the city. Access the AR filters on Visit Austin's Instagram while you're near the mural and watch as they come to life around you.

How to Access the Filters

  1. Follow @VisitAustinTX on Instagram.
  2. Tap the effects tab above our feed. Then, select the effect and tap “try it” while you’re near the mural pictured.
  3. Position your phone like you’re taking a photo of the mural and watch it pop to life!
  4. If you like what you see, save the effect by tapping the “save” icon in the lower right-hand corner of the effect.
