Venues
Unique venues are plentiful in West Austin. Treat attendees to slow-smoked Texas barbecue at the County Line. The County Line on the Hill location offers a 20-mile view of sprawling Texas Hill Country and really shows off as the sun sets. County Line on the Lake sits on the banks of Bull Creek and feels worlds away from city life and is just 20 minutes from downtown. Star Hill Ranch is like a little town of its own. This re-creation of a typical early 1900s Hill Country community has carefully restored buildings, a banquet hall, beirgarden and more.
The Oasis and Oasis Brewing Company sit over 400 feet above Lake Travis. Guests will be wowed by the scenery and tasty delights from both venues. Sophisticated style and well-manicured grounds make The Contemporary: Laguna Gloria a gorgeous venue, without any work. This outdoor sculpture gallery sits along the waters of Lake Austin and has a 1916 villa on site, along with ample outdoor space to spread.

From grapevines to hops, Austin’s local craft drink scene is not to be missed. Several breweries, wineries and distilleries call West Austin home. Things to Do
Natural wonders await in West Austin. Hike up 106 steps to Mount Bonnell, and catch a view of the Hill Country from the highest point within city limits. Just down the road is Mayfield Park, where peacocks roam freely around the lush gardens. Deep Eddy Pool is the oldest swimming pool in Texas at almost 100 years old. The spring-fed waters are a cool 70 degrees year-round. Journey a little further west and soar over canyons and Lake Travis waters with Lake Travis Zipline Adventures.
