AUSTIN, TX— Visit Austin and the Austin Convention Center are excited to announce that AFROTECH™ Conference 2022 will take place in Austin November 13-17 at the Austin Convention Center and Hilton Austin. This will be the first time the event has taken place outside of the state of California.

Founded in 2016 by Blavity, Inc., AFROTECH™ Conference is the largest multicultural tech gathering in the United States, that convenes engineers, venture capitalists, recruiters, technologists, and culture enthusiasts from all over the world for thought leadership, networking, and community building. In past years, more than 10,000 programmers, engineers, entrepreneurs have attended the conference that features onsite interviews from companies like Amazon, Qualcomm and Bank of America.

The 2022 event will be the first in-person event for Blavity, Inc. since 2019. Early Bird prices are available now for a limited time. Tech professionals are invited to join fellow engineers, designers, founders and entrepreneurs as they take a 360-degree look at culture and tech.
