At the Blanton Museum of Art, home to the largest contemporary art collection in Central Texas, you’ll find a mix of permanent displays and rotating exhibits. The Mexic-Arte Museum features works from Mexican and Latin American artists. The West Chelsea Contemporary gallery showcases 20th-century and contemporary artists—marvel at the collection or find something to take home as a souvenir. 

In Downtown Austin, The Contemporary - Jones Center features rotating contemporary exhibitions, while The Contemporary - Laguna Gloria campus is an outdoor sculpture park nestled on the banks of Lake Austin. Wander through the lush backyard that holds nearly 60 bronze sculptures from Charles Umlauf at the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum.
