Paramount Summer Classic Film Series
The Paramount Theatre
Flashing marquee lights. Buttery popcorn. Colossal screen. It’s that movie palace atmosphere, an air-conditioned oasis. THIS is how movies were meant to be seen. The 46th Annual Paramount Summer Classic Film Series presented by CapMetro returns in May. New films will be announced each month.

5/27/21 - 9/9/21 (Thursdays)
The Drop-In Summer Concert Series
Long Center
ACL Radio & The Long Center have teamed up to bring you a free weekly concert series on the Long Center lawn all summer long. The lineup will feature a diverse lineup of Austin’s favorite and emerging artists in the heart of downtown. Tickets are free but limited and must be reserved in advance.

6/4/21 - 6/6/21
aGLIFF Pride Mini Film-a-Thon
Virtual Event
To celebrate Pride month, aGLIFF will host Pride Mini Film-A-Thon with a weekend of films and programming screening virtually. Four feature films will be available for a limited number of views, with two shorts programs being offered for the entire weekend using aGLIFF’s virtual festival platform.

Austin Asian American Film Festival
Virtual Event
The Austin Asian American Film Festival (AAAFF) celebrated feature filmmakers’ unique voices and create a forum where viewers can come together to experience the wide array of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) perspectives.

6/8/21 - 6/13/2
Austin Black Pride
Various Locations
Austin Black Pride is a week of events that were created to highlight Austin's Black LGBTQ+ community interests, talents and culture. Events include speaking panels, pride parties, yoga, happy hours and more.

6/9/21 - 9/13/21
Cine Las Americas International Film Festival
Virtual & In-Person Events
The festival showcases contemporary films and videos from Latin America (North, Central, South America, and the Caribbean) and the Iberian Peninsula. Films and videos made by or about Latinxs in the U.S. or the rest of the world, as well as films and videos by or about Indigenous groups of the Americas are also invited to participate.

6/11/21 - 6/20/21
ATX Television Festival
Virtual Event
This year, ATX Television Festival is hosting a ten-day virtual event to celebrate the television medium: looking back at its history, where it is now, and where it is headed. The festival consists of panels, screenings and events where attendees and leaders in the TV industry talk, watch and experience television together as one community.

Republic of Texas Biker Rally
Circuit of The Americas
The state's largest motorcycle gathering attracts thousands of bikers for rides, parades and music.

2021 WNT Summer Series
Q2 Stadium
Come see the 2021 Women's National Team (WNT) play the first soccer game at Austin's new, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium against Nigeria, in their final challenge before the Tokyo Olympics. Ticket information for the match will be released soon.

Beyond Van Gogh, The Immersive Experience
Circuit of The Americas
Immerse yourself in Vincent Van Gogh’s artwork like you’ve never seen it before. Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will be in Austin for a limited engagement, featuring a walk-through exhibition with audiovisual projections, and masterpieces which come alive and titillate your heightened senses.

Austin FC Inaugural Home Game
Q2 Stadium
Come cheer on Austin FC, the city's first Major League Soccer team, for their first home game at Q2 Stadium! This June, the team takes on the San Jose Earthquakes in a nationally televised match on UniMás and TUDN, starting at 8 p.m. CST. Single-match ticketing information for all regular-season home matches at Q2 Stadium will be released at a later date.

Central Texas Juneteenth 2K, Parade & Celebration 
Historic East Austin and Rosewood Park
Juneteenth, also known as "Freedom Day" or "Emancipation Day," is the oldest known African American celebration commemorating the end of slavery. This annual event features a parade with floats and entertainment, and a celebration with food and local vendors at Rosewood Park.

Oddities and Curiosities Expo
Palmer Events Center
This expo showcases vendors, dealers and artists featuring all things weird. Find items such as: preserved specimens, original artwork, horror- and Halloween-inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, creepy clothing, odd jewelry and much more.

Stay Black and Live: A Virtual Juneteenth Festival
Virtual Event
The George Washington Carver Museum, Cultural and Genealogy Center hosts this virtual Juneteenth celebration, featuring film screenings, art auctions, free food, a dance party, poetry, music and more. Streaming live on Instagram, Youtube and Twitch from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

African American Book Festival
Virtual Event
This free, virtual literary event showcases new works by and about African Americans. Notable speakers and authors will discuss their works and facilitate conversations.

Pride in Local Music Livestream Concert
Virtual Event
The Austin and Nashville LGBT Chambers of Commerce are again joining forces to produce the second “Pride in Local Music” a livestream event, celebrating local music through the rainbow heartbeat of two great music cities. Co-Hosted by Nashville’s Shelly Fairchild and Austin’s Patrice Pike, the evening will feature musical performances from five local artists in iconic venues located in both cities.

H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks
Vic Mathias Shores
The Austin Symphony hosts an annual concert of patriotic music culminating in a spectacular firework display over Lady Bird Lake.

Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Celebration
Hill Country Galleria
Shopping, music, barbecue, fireworks and fun for the whole family, including the dogs. 

7/9/21 - 8/14/21
Zilker Summer Musical
Hill Country Galleria
Pack a picnic and come enjoy the free, annual musical at the Hill Country Galleria pavilion. The outdoor theatre troupe will host performances of "Little Shop of Horrors" Thursdays through Sundays beginning around 8:15 p.m.

7/27/21 - 7/28/21
Blues on the Green
Zilker Park
Pack a blanket and the family and make your way to Zilker Park for this summertime tradition. Held over two nights in July and two nights in August, Austin's largest free concert series will welcome performances by local artists.

Concacaf Gold Cup Semifinals
Q2 Stadium
For the first time, the new Q2 Stadium will play host to the Concacaf Gold Cup this summer. The 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup will feature 16 national teams, 12 of which have qualified via the 2019–20 Concacaf Nations League, including the six-time champion U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) and eight-time champion Mexican Men’s National Team.
