98.9 KUTX & The Long Center have teamed up to bring you a free weekly concert series every Thursday on the Long Center lawn all summer long. The lineup features a mix of Austin artists from country and pop to R&B and acid punk.

Paramount Summer Classic Film Series
The Paramount Theatre & Other Venues
Flashing marquee lights. Buttery popcorn. Colossal screen. It’s that movie palace atmosphere, an air-conditioned oasis. THIS is how movies were meant to be seen. The Annual Paramount Summer Classic Film Series returns in May. New films will be announced each month.

Blues on the Green
Zilker Park
93.3 KGSR's Blues on the Green is back for another year at Zilker Park. This annual, family-friendly concert is free and open to all, so bring your cooler, lay out your picnic blankets and get ready to rock the park.

Austin Visitor Center
Stop by the Austin Visitor Center in Downtown Austin for local live music every third Friday of the month, happening May, June and July. Shows will take place from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., so get there early and grab a drink from onsite 5th & Brew and shop local goods before an evening of incredible live music.

Central Texas Juneteenth 2K, Parade & Celebration
Historic East Austin and Rosewood Park
Juneteenth, also known as "Freedom Day" or "Emancipation Day," is the oldest known African American celebration commemorating the end of slavery. This annual event features a parade with floats and entertainment, and a celebration with food and local vendors at Rosewood Park.

Austin Asian American Film Festival
AFS Cinema
The Austin Asian American Film Festival (AAAFF) celebrated feature filmmakers’ unique voices and create a forum where viewers can come together to experience the wide array of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) perspectives.

George Washington Carver Museum
This free literary event showcases new works by and about African Americans. Notable speakers and authors will discuss their works and facilitate conversations.
Stay Black and Live: Juneteenth Festival
George Washington Carver Museum, Cultural & Genealogy Center
The George Washington Carver Museum, Cultural and Genealogy Center hosts the 7th annual Stay Black & Live City-Wide Juneteenth Celebration. This community festival will feature live music, cookout, and more.

Willie Nelson's annual 4th of July Picnic is returning to Austin. Since 1972, Nelson has hosted this beloved event, which features an incredible music lineup, local food vendors and a fantastic fireworks display at the end of the night.

Zilker Summer Musical
Zilker Hillside Theater
Pack a picnic and come enjoy the free, musical production of Singin' in the Rain at the Zilker Hillside Theater. The outdoor theatre troupe will host live performances Thursdays through Sundays, beginning around 8:15 p.m.

Hot Summer Nights
Red River Cultural District
Each summer, 20 venues throughout the Red River Cultural District host four days of free live music, alongside local food and vendors. Local acts like Golden Dawn Arkestra, Emily Wolfe, Moving Panoramas, Ringo Deathstarr and more have taken over stages in past years to celebrate summer in the Live Music Capital of the World®.
