AUSTIN, Texas – Air Canada is launching a daily nonstop flight service from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) starting Monday, May 18, 2015.
“This latest flight addition is a direct reflection of how our city continues to generate international growth as a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers,” said Bob Lander, Austin CVB’s President & CEO. “Last year, AUS served a record 10.7 million passengers, and we know this number will continue to increase. Toronto is a vibrant financial, high tech, and cultural meetings market and we are excited to expand our outreach there.”
The daily nonstop, operated by Air Canada Express, will depart Toronto at 2:25 p.m. arriving in Austin at 4:45 p.m. and will feature the CRJ 705 aircraft. The CRJ 705 offers 10 premium seats and 65 economy seats. Each seat will come with personal touch TVs as well as on demand audio and video.
