AUSTIN, TX - Coming off a record setting 2021 Fall season of events, the city is preparing for a busy Spring with an exciting lineup of in-person events.
South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference & Festivals, kicks off the season March 11-20, 2022 with the convergence of tech, film and music industries bringing an unparalleled experience of learning, professional development and networking with creatives from around the world.
SXSW is back in person once again this March!” said Mayor Steve Adler. “Our COVID numbers are down, health protocols are set, and we’re ready for a safe and magical time. SXSW will bring thousands of visitors, musicians, filmmakers, thought leaders and venture capitalists back home for an event that is Austin to its core.”
World Championship Golf (WGC) Dell Technologies Match Play returns to Austin March 23-27, 2022. The event features the top 64 golfers in the world in a unique match play format, and showcases local food and entertainment at the historic Austin Country Club.
NASCAR rolls into the city March 25-27, 2022 at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). This is the second year for NASCAR at COTA and promises to be another exhilarating race weekend in Austin.
Many more events are scheduled live and in person through June of this year, including the popular Moontower Just for Laughs Comedy Festival from April 13-24; Hot Luck Live Food & Music Festival, held over Memorial Day Weekend, featuring chef-driven food experiences and events; and Season 11 of the ATX Television Festival, June 2-5, with scheduled reunions of favorite television series Justified, Scrubs and Parenthood.
