Visit Austin announced today the return of Tiffany Kerr as the organization’s new Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. Tiffany served as the Visit Austin Director and VP of Marketing from 2015-2020 and returns to fill the role of the late Julie Chase.

Trained and mentored by the late Julie Chase, Tiffany is an industry superstar and is poised to successfully lead our exceptionally gifted and talented marketing team.”

A proven marketing leader to some of the most recognized global companies and a champion for small businesses, Tiffany brings more than twenty years of brand-building experience to Visit Austin. With a specialty in travel and tourism marketing, Tiffany previously led ad agency teams for Southwest Airlines, Norwegian Cruise Line and the Hilton Hotels portfolio.

During her previous tenure with Visit Austin, Tiffany led the 2017 Visit Austin rebrand, developed the bureau’s first-ever dedicated marketing series spotlighting underrepresented communities and businesses that enrich the visitor experience, and set the vision for the destination’s campaigns and experiences.

“I am honored to carry on the innovative legacy of Visit Austin and that of my predecessor and industry mentor, Julie Chase,” said Kerr. “With the anticipation of Austin’s new convention center, expanding international presence and ever-growing culinary, sports, live music and film scene, this is just the beginning of a very exciting chapter for Austin.”

Before making her return to Visit Austin, Tiffany has spent the last three years leading global creative strategy at Meta’s Creative Shop. In this role, Tiffany led her team to scale creative performance solutions to more than 10,000 small and medium-sized businesses. Tiffany’s work and commitment to inclusive marketing earned her selection as a 2024 ADCOLOR Leader.

Tiffany studied Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. From there, her career took her to Dallas, Chicago, and to Austin’s own GSD&M. Tiffany and her family call Austin home, and Madrid, Spain their home away from home. She is a proud soccer, golf, swim and Girl Scout mom.
