The free, self-guided Austin Studio Tour invites visitors to discover new artistic talent, see working studios, learn about artists' tools, techniques and inspirations, and explore galleries. Previously hosted by Big Medium, local arts organization Almost Real Things has saved the annual tour and will carry on the Studio Tour torch. The event will take place over two weekends, allowing visitors to explore all the city’s galleries and artists have to offer on November 8-9 and 15-16.

Studios & Exhibitions

The list of participating venues for the 2025 Studio Tour will be announced in Fall 2025. Past year’s events have featured work from local artists such as Landry McMeans whose psychedelic West Texas-inspired prints are displayed at her own Date Nite Gallery, mixed-media artist Karen Woodward at her studio at Canopy Austin and multiple artists from the Julie Ahmad Contemporary Studio, a collective of female artists in South Austin.

Stay tuned to the Austin Studio Tour website for the latest artist and studio lineup announcements.
