Latino Music Month is a national designation observed every May, recognizing the deep impact of Latino artists on American music. In Austin, it has grown into one of the city's most anticipated months on the live music calendar — a citywide celebration of the sounds, artists, and traditions that have long been woven into the fabric of the Live Music Capital of the World®.
This May, the lineup runs the full spectrum: bachata heavyweights at the Moody Center, a Tejano legend at Waterloo Records, Afro-Cuban jazz at the Paramount, psychedelic cumbia in the park, and an Afro-Colombian funk collective closing out the month at Sagebrush. Here's your curated guide to every show worth putting on your itinerary.
