Austin's Premier WTA Tour Tournament

Following a successful debut in 2024, Austin is gearing up for the return of the ATX Open professional women's tennis tournament in 2025.

The WTA 250 tournament is one of the first U.S.-based events on the 2025 Hologic WTA Tour calendar and will celebrate its third installment from February 22 to March 2, 2025. The event will be held at Austin’s Westwood Country Club, which will be transformed to include a 1,700-seat Center Court and amenities for thousands of tennis fans.

The tournament is Austin’s largest women’s sporting event with matches played across nine days.

With an impressive resume featuring five WTA singles and seven WTA doubles titles, Jessica Pegula will take the court as a headliner at the ATX Open in April. In 2024, Pegula won titles in Seoul and Montreal with several semifinal appearances.

Making her ATX Open debut, Malaika Rapolu has secured a main draw wild card entry in this year's event. The Austin-area local and University of Texas alumna has one professional singles title under her belt from the Dropshot Series H-E-B Women's Pro Tennis Open.
