Reggae Fest features three days of reggae, along with more than 50 vendors selling food, plus arts and crafts.

Zilker Park
Pack a blanket and the family and make your way to Zilker Park for this summertime tradition. Held monthly from May to August, Austin's largest free concert series welcomes performances by top local bands.

Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic (Outdoors)

As one of Austin’s most progressive festivals, OUTsider brings together Austin’s LGBTQI community for five days of creation and inspiration. This multidisciplinary art festival showcases film, performance art, music, visual art and more. OUTsider 2021 will likely be a hybrid happening, with several small socially distanced events and a series of interactive online experiences.

Pecan Street Festival - Spring & Fall (Outdoors)

A free family event, the Pecan Street Festival is the oldest and largest art festival in Central Texas. Musicians, food vendors, artists and crafts people turn Sixth Street — historically called Pecan Street — into a lively street fair where there is something for people of all ages.

Texas Book Festival

The Texas Book Festival has evolved into one of the premier literary events in the country and hosts about 250 authors each year. aGLIFF is the oldest and largest gay and lesbian film fest in the Southwest, and the largest LGBTQI cultural event in Austin. Experience the festival in August and watch for monthly screenings around town.

Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms
This annual festival is also the largest gathering of Celts in Central Texas. The event is home to four stages of Irish, Scottish and Breton music, dance, sports, storytelling, workshops and more.

Carnaval Brasileiro 
Carnaval in Austin is one of the biggest Brazilian Carnaval celebrations outside Brazil. Brasileiro-style samba, costumes and wild abandon can all be seen in the heart of Texas.

Central Texas Juneteenth Parade (Outdoors)
East Austin
Juneteenth, also known as "Freedom Day" or "Emancipation Day," is the oldest known African American celebration commemorating the end of slavery. Start the day at the 2K Freedom Run/Walk, then join the parade through historic East Austin.

Chingona Fest Texas
Chingona Fest Texas is an annual conference and music festival which aims to inspire and empower Latinas through music, film, art, community and philanthropy.

Hosted by the Mexic-Arte Museum, Viva La Vida is Austin’s largest and longest-running Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival, and one of the few in the country with a parade. The festival features a Grand Procession, hands-on art activities and artist demos, and a celebration with traditional foods, local artist and retail booths, a low-rider exhibition, live music and performances throughout the day.
