As the sixth round of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship, the Lone Star Le Mans will showcase 14 manufacturers represented across both classes (Hypercars and LMBGT3) including familiar brands from Formula 1 like Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, and McLaren. Alongside them, BMW, Cadillac, Corvette, Ford, Isotta, Fraschini, Lamborghini, Lexus, Peugeot, Porsche and Toyota will compete in the six hour-long endurance race with up to three drivers per car.
With eight rounds per WEC season, the stakes will be high for teams entering the sixth and only round in North America. Some drivers have already been named for the 2024 season like former Haas F1 and current Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 reserve driver Mick Schumacher who will be racing during the Lone Star Le Mans with Alpine. The full driver line up will be announced in the coming months.View Map
