Ride back in time in vintage passenger cars on a trip from Cedar Park into the Hill Country.
The train departs on Saturdays and Sundays from Cedar Park, 20 miles north of downtown Austin. The Hill Country Flyer is a full day excursion to Burnet with a lunch time layover for dining, picnicking or shopping. The Bertram Flyer is a three hour round trip excursion into the Hill Country.
Directions to the station: From Austin take I35 north to Hwy 1431 (exit 256). Take Hwy 1431 west 8.5 miles to 401 E. Whitestone Blvd (Hwy 1431).
Ticket prices range from $42-$17 on the Hill Country Flyer, and $31-$11 on the Bertram Flyer.
