The Austin Typewriter Poets Collective offers a one-of-a-kind experience, writing personalized, on-the-spot poems on vintage typewriters.

HOW IT WORKS

Curious guests approach and we ask them for a topic. We then improvise a poem based on that topic (generally within two to three minutes) and read it aloud. Finally, we hand it over for them to keep. We’ve written thousands of poems for thousands of folks. People are invariably enchanted by the experience and are thrilled to take a custom, typewritten poem home. Try to give us a topic we’ve never gotten before! I dare you.

The Austin Typewriter Poets Collective brings a classy, novel, and interactive experience to any event. We have been booked for a wide array of events, including fundraisers (Pease Park Conservancy), galas (Texas Book Festival), weddings, private parties, conventions, and more.
