Bambino, the sophomore restaurant from Austin’s L’Oca d’Oro duo Adam Orman and Fiore Tedesco, opened in March 2024 in East Austin. The casual all-day pizza joint weaves together the spirit of the 80s with a grown-up sensibility–arguably bringing to life 10-year-old Fiore’s vision of a pizzeria–with reverence for the integrity of the dough and ingredient sourcing overall. Bambino will be open Tuesday-Sunday with a robust menu of seasonal, rotating round pies made with long- and naturally fermented dough utilizing flour from nearby Barton Springs Mill. A playful high-low menu complements the pizza, with antipasti; thoughtfully selected seafood conserva; a quintessential burger of the day; and desserts inspired by Fiore’s childhood.
