Established by Texas Longhorn Deandre Moore and his mother, Taleea Moore, Jive Turkey is a food truck with a mission to provide authentic, high-quality and affordable meals to food-insecure communities. Upon his arrival in Austin, Deandre noticed that beef-based concepts heavily dominated the food truck scene and therefore decided to bring the turkey-based meals he loved from childhood to his new city. Enlisting the help of his mother, Taleea, who has a knack for home-cooked meals, and Clark Field Creative, Deandre’s Jive Turkey was born. This family-founded business brings soulful meals to the Austin community, giving patrons a taste of home with each flavorful bite.
