Joann’s Fine Foods is a lively neighborhood cafe and cantina located in the iconic Austin Motel, along bustling South Congress. The vibe is laidback with a rambunctious streak especially out on the patio and at the palapa-style bar. The decor is classic American diner—if that diner took a vacation to Baja California and never came home.
The menu features Tex Mex and diner classics, as well as a full bar with an extensive tequila and mezcal selection. Favorites include Wood-Grilled Fajitas with tortillas made in-house daily, Joann’s Queso, Avocado & Tuna Tartare, Tacos and Quesadillas, Enchilada Plates and diner specialties including Stone Ground Blue Corn Pancakes, Patty Melt, and Club Sandwich.
