    About

    Educational events are our specialty. The Thompson Conference Center (TCC) has served as a link between The University of Texas at Austin and the community since 1970. Our mission is (and always has been) to provide excellent conference facilities and services for our clients. As a full-service, non-residential conference center, we help a variety of clients execute their educational programs throughout the year. TCC has a 1,000-person instructional capacity. It features thirteen meeting rooms with seating for 20 to 188, plus a 200-seat auditorium. Under the Oaks Cafe, banquet capacity of 150 is available for receptions and networking events. In addition to the meeting spaces in the Thompson Center, TCC staff manages events at the Lady Bird Johnson Auditorium, which seats 967. This is an ideal location for awards ceremonies, graduations and keynote lectures, with two lobbies to house your cocktail hour or exhibitors.
