With six floors of beautifully designed spaces, plenty of seating indoors and outside on the rooftop deck and excellent internet speeds, you'll be your most productive self at this spot. While you're there, grab a coffee or crepe from the on-site cafe, Cafe Creme.

Located inside the Carpenter Hotel, the Carpenter Coffee Bar is a laptop-friendly cafe with plenty of space to settle in and plug in whether you're a hotel guest or not. The laid-back and beautifully designed space features reliable Wi-Fi and ample outlets, ensuring you're able to get your work done. Fuel for the day with tasty coffees, matcha and breakfast bites while you're there.
Mozart’s Coffee Roasters
Popular lakefront spot Mozart’s Coffee Roasters has multiple Wi-Fi access points to keep you connected on its large deck. Take in the views of Lake Austin over your coffee and a turkey and brie croissant while you ponder your next business move. Avoid the heat by staying indoors in summer, but take advantage of the expansive patio when the weather’s nice!
Palomino Coffee
The zen, plant-filled oasis at Palomino Coffee will have you set up for success to focus all morning long. The tranquil vibes of this East Austin coffee shop offer a good amount of seating, whether it's at tables or couches. Visit the second location on Airport Boulevard for more space. While you work, sip on a seasonal beverage like the Prickly Pear Match or Caramel Miso Latte.
Sa-Tén
The modern, minimalist space at Sa-Tén is a popular destination for remote workers, with a relaxing atmosphere to keep you calm even on your busiest days. There are plenty of outlets, and a tasty menu of Japanese-inspired eats to keep you fueled up. Get a matcha latte to stay energized without the coffee jitters.

Better Half is open until 10:00 pm or later most days.
Brew & Brew
The industrial-sleek vibes at Brew & Brew are popular with the remote working tech crowd. Get a jolt from their full espresso bar, or sample one of the 38 beers on draft. There are plenty of outlets here and good Wi-Fi speeds, so you’ll be able to work as long as you like. Enjoy bagels and French toast sticks from the breakfast and brunch menu or sandwiches served till 3:00 pm.
Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden
South Austin’s Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden has room for your whole office crew. Much more than a coffee shop, Cosmic has a chicken coop, water features, gardens, and more. Sit indoors or outdoors on the sprawling patio, and invite friends for a coworking session. With a large selection of beers on draft and craft cocktails, you can easily transition from work to play.
Community Garden
For the ultimate good vibes workspace, head to Community Garden during their laptop-friendly hours, Tuesday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm. Here you'll find plenty of outlets to plug into, cozy indoor seating and a breezy patio with picnic tables. Grab lunch while you work, and at 4 pm, this spot switches to their evening service with natural wines and chef-driven small bites.
The Meteor
Located on South Congress, The Meteor is a great spot to work remotely. Pop up your computer at the booths inside, or head out to the covered patio if the weather's nice. While you work, grab a coffee to keep you energized and once it hits 5:00 p.m., The Meteor has a large wine and beer selection to end the day.
Spokesman
Put your creativity hat on at Spokesman, one of Austin’s best places to work remotely. This eclectic coffee shop has locations in South and North Austin, serving house-roasted coffee, beer and snacks. Both shops are decked out in custom cartoons by artist Briks to feed your muse, and there are plenty of outlets to keep you powered on.
24 Hour Coffee Shops
Epoch Coffee
Burning the midnight oil? Head to Epoch Coffee’s North Loop location for 24/7 access to fast Wi-Fi and plenty of coffee. Retractable extension cables from the ceiling keep you powered up wherever you sit. Each location has a unique vibe, but at North Loop, it’s cozy and eclectic, with mismatched furniture and warm lighting.
Bennu Coffee
For comfortable seating and plenty of power outlets, head to one of the three locations of Bennu Coffee. This always open coffee shop welcomes remote workers morning, noon, and late night for brainstorming sessions and offsite meetings. Get grab-and-go snacks from local vendors like Hoboken Pie and Taco Max to stave off the hunger pangs.
