Convention Sales Events

Convention sales events are strategic initiatives designed to promote a destination to meeting and event planners through in-person engagement, relationship building, and lead generation. These include trade shows, sales missions, familiarization (FAM) trips, client events, and targeted in-market appointments that showcase the destination’s offerings and drive future bookings.

Visit Austin Foundation and Austin Sports Commission events raise critical funds and awareness to support workforce development, scholarships, and community engagement in the hospitality and sports industries. Signature events like the Thanks FORE Giving Golf Fundraiser bring together industry leaders and supporters to invest in Austin’s future talent and economic vitality.

Cancellations will not be permitted unless there are extenuating circumstances to be reviewed and approved by the Strategic Alliances team. Thank you for your participation.***
