Whether you’re looking for high intensity training or just want to raise your heart rate before a good savasana, Austin’s fitness community has you covered.
Barre & Pilates
The Align Austin studio is temporarily closed, but instructors will be teaching 3 LIVE online classes per day. Check the schedule for virtual classes online.
B Pilates is sharing individual exercises on Facebook for everyone to enjoy. Get creative and put them together in a sequence that fits your body and experience level, to build your own workout. All members also have access to online classes via the Zoom app.
Butler Center for Dance & Fitness and the Pilates Center
Ballet Austin’s Center for Dance & Fitness is hosting regular live classes with all your favorite instructors. Check their instagram for the daily class schedule and get moving with options like Cardio Hip Hop, Core Yoga, Intermediate Ballet and CardioFunk.
The local studio is offering virtual classes, where you can still sweat it out with all of your favorite instructors. Sign up for classes on MindBody and download Zoom on your smart devices to tune in. New students get 2 unlimited weeks for $39 and class packs are on sale for 15% off through the end of March.
Black Swan Yoga
Join Black Swan Yoga online or on Instagram for a full schedule of live yoga classes every day. Your online donations will support the BSY teachers you know and love. Practice Yoga Austin is broadcasting a live class on their Facebook page every day. Donate to your teachers at Practice on Venmo or Paypal; find donation information here.
Online Yoga Classes are available to live stream via Zoom. Register for a class as you normally would on their website with a membership, class pack or a drop in. You’ll then receive a link to log in to Zoom 30 minutes prior to the start of class. Try your first month of unlimited online classes with Wanderlust for only $38. Wild Heart Yoga
The west Austin studio is offering 4-5 online classes a day. Online Day Passes are available for $10; when you purchase a day pass (must register before 8 a.m.), you gain access to all online classes on the schedule that day. Members still have Unlimited Yoga via online classes and 15-20 minute free guided meditations, chanting & mantra and sound bath classes are also on the schedule.
Yoga with Adriene
Access the YouTube yoga instructor’s large library of all-level yoga videos. For new practitioners, start with the Yoga For Beginners and Foundations of Yoga series or work up a sweat with the the Yoga for Weight Loss or Total Body Yoga playlists.
Gyms & Fitness Training
The group fitness program has launched a free virtual workout experience called #HustleFromHome, offering two different digital workout options. Join CG trainers on their Facebook page for live workouts twice a day. Or, download printable 30-minute at-home workouts on their website.
Castle Hill Fitness
Castle Hill Fitness trainers from both the 360 and Downtown locations are ready to lead you through virtual training and written workouts. Tune in on Zoom from the comfort of your home, backyard or balcony for a virtual training session. If you’re not into virtual workouts, connect with the trainers for a personalized written workout that has your goals, limitations, and at-home equipment in mind.
Join the Crossfit community with free coach-led workouts on Instagram every weekday, at 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Find the week’s workouts posted on Instagram, then follow along with the live virtual group classes.
Crux Climbing Center
Crux is now offering online classes including: training for climbing, yoga, HIIT and circuit training to keep Austinites mentally and physically healthy. Travel all over Latin America and beyond every day from your home! Esquina Tango has lots of classes to choose from like dance, language, exercise, music and more. Classes are currently via Zoom Video or Facebook Live and all classes are 100% by donation. Find the full schedule on their website.
The local training studio has started an Online Solutions program which includes a daily workout on IGTV and a live class every weekday at 7 a.m. and noon on their YouTube channel. Plus, sign up for their email list for more exclusive content.
Love Cycling Studio
Have an indoor bike at home? The local cycling studio’s VIRTUAL LOVE classes can be done on any stationary bike or Peloton by downloading the Train-With app. Access the normal class schedule both live and on demand for $15 per class in the app.
While November Project in-person workouts are paused, the group workout organization is offering free Wednesday and Friday workouts on Zoom. The Onnit Gym is hosting free, live workouts on their Instagram account. Be sure to check in daily because each workout disappears after 24 hours. Or try Onnit 6, a full-body, transformative workout you can do in the comfort of your own home in just six weeks. All you’ll need is six feet of space.
For those with access to a Concept2 rowing machine, Austin's local indoor rowing studio is posting their signature-styled interval rowing workouts online.. Workouts are free and donations are appreciated but not required. A new workout and video is posted every other day on their website.
