A place where thousands of people who rarely experience the arts in Austin come as our guests to enjoy the movement, the music, and the magic we call dance. This unique place is the Ballet Austin Dance Education Center. The Center democratized dance by making it physically and financially accessible to all of Austin up to six days every week, instead of only five weekends a year. The Butler Dance Education Center features seven rehearsal studios, in-house performance space with capacity to seat 287 people, the Austin Ventures Studio Theater, more parking, 15 restrooms plus locker rooms with showers, and a Community School with added classrooms and classes, more room for more students and expanded curriculum.
