ACL LIVE AT THE MOODY THEATER
Home of Austin City Limits, the longest running music series in American TV history, this is also a popular venue for live music and other performances. Insider Tip: Even if there’s not a show while you’re in town, you can still tour the venue Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. - noon to see where the TV show is filmed.

LADY BIRD LAKE
Get a view of the city from the water. This centrally located outdoor destination offers kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding as well as a gorgeous 10 mile hike-and-bike trail. Insider Tip: About half an hour before sundown from March to October, watch in awe as 1.5 million bats emerge from the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge.
